The Emerald is a veritable work of art by two well-known golf architects, Nick Faldo and Desmond Muirhead. The 18-hole design weaves through the pristine rainforest of mature trees that still provide sanctuary to various native birds. The gentle yet beautiful contours of the fairways, the volcanic-like greens, challenging par-3’s, and the subtle water placements make the Emerald one of the most challenging golf courses in Thailand. Unlike many other Pattaya golf courses, driving accuracy is favored over length as there is a considerable premium when hitting the fairways.

Le clubhouse, de type petit conteneur, et les autres installations ne sont pas excessivement luxueux mais pleins de convivialité, dans la tradition du mode de vie rural thaïlandais. Le restaurant en plein air offre une ambiance agréable après la partie. Bien qu'il ne soit pas aussi célèbre que d'autres terrains de golf de Pattaya, l'excellent paysage et les prix raisonnables font de l'Emerald Golf Club un bon choix pour tout golfeur de Pattaya.
